If you've never tried Pole Fitness or Aerial work before, the thought of coming to your first class can be daunting. Some new students will come along on their own, whilst others join with a friend, and in both scenarios it's normal to feel a bit nervous.
A common phrase we hear is "I would like to try pole but i have no upper body strength". Well, strength comes with time and therefore it's not a reason not to come and try pole. It's actually a reason to come and build it!
You might look at some of the photoshoot pictures and imagine that everyone was flexible, strong and confident from the offset, but no. Everyone starts at the beginning, and everyone experiences those first class nerves.
With each new beginners course a common theme can be seen... students begin cautiously, have some giggles together, surprise themselves, then they build strength from each other and build friendships that blossom on and off the pole.
Everyone is in it together, not matter what size, shape, background or gender.
